Chief Justice of India NV Ramana has withdrawn from the hearing water disputes

Chief Justice of India NV Ramana has withdrawn from the hearing of a petition filed by the AP government on water disputes between Telugu states. Allocated to a different bench. Two days ago he advised the two states to mediate. However, the AP government as well as the Center have appealed to the Supreme Court for a legal solution. With this, Justice NV Ramana decided to transfer the petition to another bench. However, the central government's counsel asked the apex court to hear the case. However, the Chief Justice did not agree. The case will be heard in another bench. The water dispute between the Telugu states .. In the background of the opinion that it is a political strategy, there is an interest among the political parties in the trial in the Supreme Court.

As per the suggestion to mediate .. the two states are expected to make any effort. But the court argued that the Supreme Court should have resolved if no such attempt had been made. The center is also saying the same. In fact water disputes should first be discussed and resolved in the Apex Council constituted under the Separation Act. But there is no solution to any of the problems in the Apex Council, right? The Center has unilaterally notified the Godavari River Boards along with KRMB. The issue is further compounded by the fact that the two states now do not agree to the implementation of the Gazette.

Since Justice NV Ramana is a native of Andhra Pradesh, he naturally did not want to inquire into the water dispute between the Telugu states. Many are willing to attribute the intentions of any trial to the tribunal in which he is. Under such circumstances, Justice NV Ramana took a key decision to withdraw from the trial.
