BJP state president and MP Bandi Sanjay wrote a letter to the Center seeking medical sanction for Jogulamba Gadwala district. In a letter, he asked Union Health Minister Mandvi to sanction a medical college for Gadwal, a backward district.
Bundy Sanjay, who mentioned in the letter that the land for setting up the college had already been acquired and was ready, asked for allotment of a 300-bed hospital.
Recently, the state government has decided to set up medical colleges in many districts. But the college was not sanctioned even though there was land acquired for the college in Gadwal where the proposal was in the past.
